I’m downtown in the the Financial District for a meeting and need a quick lunch… and I find a glorious bunch of quick restaurants where I can pick food up. They had a Blue Ribbon sushi, with an actual sit down sushi bar and a pick-up place, where they had 5 different types of rolls, a whole bunch of veggie combos that you could put on top of rice or noodles, and salads. I went for a spicy tuna cucumber roll and a kale salad (which was HUGE).
Good, healthy sushi and lots of kale… I was in a good place. Next time, I’ll try to have enough time to sit down at the sushi bar, where I’m guessing that there’s a bigger choice of fish, but otherwise, this worked for my rushed lunch!
