Back in May, after the bank holiday, my friend Michelle and I met up for a Monday evening catch-up, and went to try the new pizza place on the New Kings Road near Parson’s Green. When we got there at 6pm, it was teaming with people!
We ended up waiting at the bar for about half an hour before a table became free, but boy, was it worth it!
I got the Santa Paola, which was mushrooms, ‘nduja, mozzarella, and without tomato sauce. Look at all of that mozzarella!
Michelle got the San Rocco, served with a large dollop of Burrata, sauce, pecorino, roasted aubergines, and rocket. Mmm.
Great place for a chilled, cosy night out… as long as you’re happy to wait for a bit before sitting!
