Eataly, Bologna, Italy

Second frustrating lunch… back in Bologna on Easter Monday, everything was closed except for a few restaurants… and everything was of course packed.

We finally found a place that was open, Eataly… and had to go to the cafe, as the main restaurant had a 45 minute wait… then waited in line for ages… and for them to slice our meat… for ages. So we were hungry girls when it got there!

But it was worth the wait, check out that salami, porchetta and Parma ham. Mmm.

… served with some nice pieces of bread…

And the cheese plate. We had some more of that cheese spread that we had had one night, some Parmesan, a nuttier hard cheese, and some mozarella balls. All also delicious. This hit the spot and was worth the wait! A last fix of meat and cheese before we headed to the airport.
