A quick weekday lunch to catch up with my old colleague, Rebecca. She suggested Il Viccolo, an Italian restaurant in a small alley near both of our offices. I had walked by Il Viccolo ages of times, but never actually eaten there. And, so, gladly agreed.
After snacking on some olives, we surveyed the menu… there was a nice-sounding spinach and ricotta ravioli that was served in a walnut sauce and sounded good…
But then, one of the specials was a linguine with mushrooms in a white wine sauce and parsley. I eat this up so quickly… it was delicious, with the mushrooms and wine sauce all melling together… Yum.
Nothing amazing about this place, but it was a good price and the food was good… I will definitely be back!
