Il Corallo, Rome

I spent the weekend in Rome for a very dear friend’s 40th… both nights were packed full of aperitivos and dinners, but the rest of the time we had some downtime to wander through the streets…

But the first night, we met for drinks, then headed to a cosy restaurant to start off the weekend. We ordered some starters for the table, getting regular burrata with cherry tomatoes…


And more burrata, this one with sun-dried tomatoes and anchovies. I LOVED the anchovy and burrata combo… definitely to be tried at home!


Then, I got the tagliatelle with the black truffles. One of a few this weekend. The pasta was slightly oiled, topped with truffles, but also, mixed into the pasta was some chopped-up truffle… yum. Delicious on the fresh pasta.


Top it off with some grilled vegetables. And some wine. The perfect dinner to kick off the weekend!
