Lunch on the Boat, Cunda, Turkey

The next day, we took a boat out for the day… visited several small islands, swam in the bays, and tanned… It was the perfect, idle day. The water was cold and the boat was hot… a great combo to keep dipping!

When we started getting peckish, the captain started cooking… he fried up tens of barbun (red mullet) for us, which he fried up on the small hob downstairs in the boat.

Along with this, we had a fresh rocket, tomato and cucumber salad, and about a million aubergine boreks. We started with the borek and ate a good seven to eight each… then the salad.. then I probably had just as many fish!

A little wine to wash it down, and we were back on our way!
