Bazaar by Jose Andres, SLS Hotel, Miami

My last weekend in Miami, my friend Jamie came down to join me. We stayed at the SLS, for a little change of scene…

Breakfast was good, served with green juice (check Jamie out, surrounded by green juices)

And ordered the egg in toast with jamon iberico and roasted peppers… very good and actually not a very heavy breakfast.

For lunch, we went a bit crazier… we ordered the flauta to start, a jamon iberico and manchego small sandwich. Delicious, and a perfect starter to share.

Then, the caesar salad to share, we didn’t have enough greens at breakfast (!!) Good, but nothing special about the salad.

And finally, I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich, which was stuffed with zucchini blossoms and a truffled cheese. It was good, but the bread was soaked in butter, and the bread to filling ratio was quite high… so you couldn’t taste much of the cheese. Shame. I think next time I’ll order something else…
