Quattro Passi, Mayfair, London

I went for lunch with my friend Leigh, who sweetly wanted to take me out for a late birthday lunch (yeah, it’s a bit late… and her birthday is October 1st and we haven’t celebrated that either, yet).

The weather was sunny and almost 24 degrees out (over 70F). So we quickly took ownership of one of the two terraced tables on the street. And ordered up a storm…

The bread basket, first of all, is pretty amazing.

Warm cuttlefish salad (it wasn’t warm but probably tasted better cool) with fennel marinated in lime and orange, with a lemon infusion

Then, we both had the fish of the day (red snapper)

There are a few small tables out on the terrace overlooking Dover Street, and it’s a great place to sit and watch people walking by in the sun. Quattro Passi is a repeat for sure!
