Cafe Rouge, Covent Garden

I went to Cafe Rouge with two colleagues today – I hadn’t been in a while, and it’s really not my favourite place, but it’s quick and easy.

They had a few new dishes on the menu (apparently I haven’t been there in over six months!) including the chicken tagine. And you know what? It was pretty good. Sorry for the shoddy picture… but there was the perfect amount of sauce for the bulgar couscous. My only complaint is that the spices tasted like Italian salad dressing that you can buy in the US… not like tagine spices. Tasted a bit chemically… but good overall.

A few shots of what the sky when I’ve been out running in London lately… has been mixed for sure, but at least it’s warmed up and it’s nice to be outside!
